SYNOPSIS
Angelina Toyohara (daughter of Japanese father and Mexican mother) narrates and describes in letters to her mother the gestation of the war from Hiroshima.
The nuclear bombing and the naked face of an inferno on the surface of the earth that unleashed the despair and the horror between agony and death ...
Before the missives without answer, his mother, desperate, from Tapachula, looks for the way to re-establish the contact with her .
A scenario of impotence: the stupor before the excessive extinction, the growing fear and the unbounded misfortune that unleashed the hecatombe.
CONTENT
This proposal aims to make the conventional formula of theater making more vivid. "Nikkei ... Letters from Hiroshima." It is a multidisciplinary theatrical work that includes butoh dance, nichibu, live musical sound and sensorama.
This piece will stimulate, not only the viewer's imagination more intensely, but also their senses. It is based on the testimonies exposed in the homonymous novel that narrates the infamous facts of World War II and its lethal atomic bomb on the population of Hiroshima.
The characters of this story take us step by step through the letter between Mexico and Japan that, for more than five years, they held to share their hopes and sorrows.
